...Cruisin...

We just returned from another wonderful vacation. We have been spoiled this summer by our families, but we can't complain. ;) On our cruise we visited the Bahamas, St.Thomas, and St.Maarten (some of the virgin islands). Every day was a blast and we were constantly going and seeing new things. We're sad to be home already but feel lucky we got to go.

We took a jeep tour all around St.Maarten. It was so fun to be able to see the whole island this way.

And to finish the trip off....a few alligators by the road in Florida!

Thank you mom and dad for a wonderful trip. We enjoyed every minute of it. Love you!

...TCC Love...

It seems impossible to try and some up my feelings about the Children's Center in just a few paragraphs. So get ready for many pictures because they say it all. I can't even begin to describe all that I've learned and how much I am going to miss this place. For a while now I have felt like a needed a change, not to mention it would be nice not to have a weekly cold or flu. Even though it was my choice, that doesn't make saying goodbye any easier. Today was a good last day to this chapter of my life. All eight of my kids were there and they were so sweet to me all day, not always typical for these kids' behavior haha. I will always remember every kid who came through my group. They all made an impact on my life and I'm so grateful for them. I was suppose to help them over come their trials but I think they were mostly teaching me along the way. I love them so much and I will always hold them close to my heart. I'm going to miss the Children's Center but I know I can always visit, and I will always feel at home there.

Bicycle Made For Two...

Last Sunday, Julie borrowed a tandum bike to ride with her friends. So when we went over to the Hanks' house for Sunday dinner I was excited to give it a try. I loved it! I want one someday ;) Riding on the back was the best, you really didn't have to do much. Riding on the front was more challenging for me, just ask Jason. I prefer being relaxed while someone else steers.  Well anyway, thanks Julie for letting us ride your bike. It was so fun!

Time for a Run

Yesterday was the Utah Valley marathon, half marathon, and 5k run. My brother Corey was doing the half so my mom and I thought it would be fun to go and see him and do the 5k since we're not big runners. There were so many people there it was crazy. The weather was beautiful and perfect for a run. Corey did a great job! I did the 5k in a half hour and my mom was just 6 minutes behind me. I'm thinking that I should work a little harder and next time do the half with Corey. But we'll see! Even though we didn't run much it was a fun activity to do together. Thanks mom!

Home...

There is something very special about your first place as a married couple. Our is just that to us, special. Getting it was not an easy task. The summer before Jason and I got married we spent day after day looking at condos that we wanted to buy. We found many that we loved but none of them felt like home to us. We actually tried to get two others before this one but they fell through. We gained more patients and learned a lot about the world of buying our own place. We are true believers in the fact that things work out how they are supposed to. Finally we found our condo we have now. We saw it one time, put in an offer and it was immediately accepted! This was such a relief for us. Since we moved in we have loved our condo. It's a whopping 860 square feet consisting of two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, two walk-in closets and it's perfect for us. I thought I would take some pictures of it to remember our first home. I know in 20, 30 years maybe we'll look back at these pictures and laugh at our taste and decorations. But for now we love it. There's no place like home.
